چکیده
Appropriately disposing of and reusing waste is a major step in promoting environmentally sustainable development. Following the rise environmental awareness, agricultural has been applied as reusable organic resource cost-efficient material for preparing hydrogel adsorbents. The present study combined rice bran with sodium alginate chitosan to prepare two new types beads. beads were then modified using simple methods, their characteristics analyzed Fourier transform infrared spectroscope, scanning electron microscope, thermogravimetric analysis. Specifically, effects pH, adsorbent dosage, adsorption time, temperature on performance dyes various properties examined. results revealed that optimal conditions bran/alginate adsorb crystal violet pH 5, dosage 30 mg, at °C, 6 h adsorption; furthermore, kinetic isothermal data found be consistent pseudo-second-order model Freundlich isotherm model, respectively. bran/chitosan reactive blue 4 3, 40 50 7 adsorption, pseudo-first-order Langmuir This natural polymers friendly adsorbents, which satisfy today’s protection trends economic values because low impact favorable adsorptive regenerative properties. They can prepared without high-temperature high-pressure processing, recycled through separation water bodies filter thus substantially reducing energy monetary costs.

Preparation and Characterization of Nano-lignin Biomaterial to Remove Basic Red 2 dye from aqueous solutions
The present study prepares alkali lignin (AL) via acidification of black liquor, obtained from a pulp and paper factory. The average molecular weight of AL (equal to 2,530 g/mol) has been determined with gel permeation chromatography. AL has been modified by ethylene glycol, while lignin nanoparticles (LN) has been prepared through acid precipitation technology, their size being assessed by mea...

متن کاملMagnetic Pycnoporus sanguineus-loaded alginate composite beads for removing dye from aqueous solutions.
Dye pollution in wastewater is a severe environmental problem because treating water containing dyes using conventional physical, chemical, and biological treatments is difficult. A conventional process is used to adsorb dyes and filter wastewater. Magnetic filtration is an emerging technology. In this study, magnetic Pycnoporus sanguineus-loaded alginate composite beads were employed to remove...

background: the removal of ethylbenzene and xylene at a concentration of 10 mg/l from aqueous solutions by single- and multi-walled carbon nanotubes (swcnt and mwcnt, respectively) and hybrid carbon nanotubes (hcnt) was evaluated at a nanomaterials dose of 1 g/l, a contact time of 10 minutes, and a ph 7. methods: synthetic samples were analyzed by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (gc/ms). i...
متن کاملRemoval of textile dye from aqueous solutions by nanofiltration process
The feasibility of employing nanofiltration (NF) in the decolorization of ionic (direct blue 86) and nonionic (disperse blue 56) dye aqueous solutions was investigated. The effects of feed concentration (60- 180 mg/l), pressure (0.5- 1.1 MPa) and pH (6- 10) were studied. Experiments were performed in a laboratory- scale set up by using a TFC commercial spiral wound polyamide nanofilter. The res...
